A wonderful and nurturing two form entry primary school in Barnet is looking to appoint a compassionate and proactive SEN TA – Barnet to join their dedicated team. The successful SEN TA – Barnet will provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD and speech and language difficulties. As an SEN TA – Barnet, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils can fully access the curriculum and thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Providing tailored 1:1 SEN support within the classroom
2. Supporting the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised plans
3. Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
4. Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and external professionals
Essential Skills & Experience
5. Experience supporting children with SEN (school-based preferred)
6. Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
7. Patient, empathetic and resilient nature
8. Desire to develop a long-term career in education and training
