Role Overview
Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with Professor Anke Ehlers and the Oxford Center for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma team on research evaluations of psychological treatments for PTSD and social anxiety disorder, including therapist-assisted internet-delivered cognitive therapies and their roll-out into the NHS.
* Assist in the administration of clinical trials of psychological treatments for PTSD and social anxiety disorder.
* Liaise with trial therapists, participants, and web developers for internet-delivered therapies.
* Edit training materials for therapist training website and online therapy modules.
* Interview participants and assist with data entry and analysis.
Qualifications
* Good degree in psychology.
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Good understanding of computers and software.
* Knowledge of statistics and experimental design.
* Prior experience with people with PTSD and/or social anxiety disorder is desirable.
Employment Details
Fixed term until 31 March 2028, full-time (37.5 hours per week). Part-time considered, minimum of 0.8 FTE.
Salary
£35,681 to £41,636 per annum pro rata: Grade 6.
