A day in the life of a Kitchen Porter: Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils using industrial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods. Support chefs by keeping work areas clean and organised. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with hygiene and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation when required. Ensure all cleaning schedules are followed and completed. Replenish cleaning materials and kitchen supplies as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including COSHH and manual handling procedures. Work flexibly across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event service times, including weekends and evenings You’ll be set up for success if you are: Reliable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure. A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
