A leading law firm in York is seeking an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer/Executive to join their busy office. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in freehold and leasehold transactions and will be capable of managing a caseload independently from start to finish, providing high-quality advice and service to clients.
Role Overview The appointed Conveyancer/Executive will manage residential property sales and purchases, handling matters from initial client instructions through to completion. They will be responsible for preparing documentation, liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other parties, and ensuring files are billed and monies collected in line with firm procedures. The role may also involve supervisory responsibilities as required.
Key Requirements 2+ years experience in residential property conveyancing
Strong technical knowledge of freehold and leasehold matters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage complex files accurately and efficiently
Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise workload under pressure
Competent with Windows, Word, and Excel
Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently when required
