Role Overview
The postholder will work as part of a team to coordinate and deliver technical operations in an academic and research setting, ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective management of facilities, equipment, resources, and technical expertise to enhance the School’s teaching, research, and learning aims.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver technical operations in academic and research settings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage facilities, equipment, resources, and technical expertise.
- Support teaching, research, and learning aims of the School.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in mechanical, electronic, and control‑based sports engineering systems.
- Experience leading, supervising, and mentoring others, including line management.
- Ability to design, build, and integrate electro‑mechanical and robotic systems.
- Strong collaboration skills with academics, researchers, and students.
- Excellent planning, prioritising, and time‑management skills.
