We are now recruiting for a Regional Development Manager to join our Corporate Engagement team, in a permanent capacity, working full-time.
About the role
Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Engagement, the Regional Development Manager (RDM) is responsible for helping grow the Corporate Engagement customer base. Working in a strategic, consultative, dynamic, and customer-centric environment, the RDM will take ownership of developing customer relationships with our product portfolio to increase the number of Ethical, Competent, Accountable & Inclusive BCS members.
A positive, purpose-driven attitude towards people and organizational learning development, with excellent communication skills, is essential to ensure stakeholders receive exceptional experience and support in their career goals.
Key responsibilities:
* Support individuals and organizations with their career goals.
* Develop and maintain strategic relationships within the region, leveraging local BCS networks to promote and grow an ethical and competent digital workforce.
* Understand local market needs related to digital skills development.
* Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
* Develop and implement sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
* Generate new leads and contacts to grow business.
* Identify and develop new business relationships with potential clients.
* Seek partnerships, funding sources, and channel opportunities to expand business.
* Attend networking events to attract and retain customers.
* Support marketing strategies to enhance business relationships.
* Maintain and update sales, marketing, and business development documentation.
* Assist with marketing and promotional projects.
* Report on sales goals and pipeline management.
* Collaborate with other teams within BCS.
* Continuously seek improvements to systems, processes, and procedures.
* Align with BCS values and support organizational purpose.
* Be flexible to adjust responsibilities as needed.
