We now have a fantastic career opportunity to join our Project Management team as an apprentice Project Manager where you will provide essential support for our Project Managers, executing operational and administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day business operations.Reporting to the Project Delivery Director, the successful job holder will join a small and super friendly team of four, initially as the Project Support Officer, progressing to Project Manager after an initial 12-month period, subject to satisfactory performance.
This opportunity is being offered as a degree apprenticeship with Arden University.As part of their APM accredited BSc (Hons) Project Management programme, you’ll learn the tools and techniques of the profession via a blended virtual learning approach including flexible self-guided learning, scheduled virtual teaching sessions, regular virtual 1-2-1 coaching and quarterly virtual progress reviews, at no cost to you! You’ll be set up for success in a culture where we look after our people as much as we do our customers, with the full support from the team, two of whom are just about to complete their degree programmes!

Key Areas of Activity - Project Support Officer
* Record and draft minutes meetings and submit for approval prior to distribution and filing.
* Set-up and maintain the Project Management boards with actions and new items generated from meetings.
* Updating the Mysoft Activity Planner (MAP) scheduling tool.
* Preparation and management of Statement of Works (SOW) for the Consultants
* Monitor the project inbox
* Manage key business reporting for the PM team.
* Set up and maintain the Customer folders and sub folder framework.
Key Areas of Activity - Project Manager
As the role develops into Project Manager, you’ll get involved in small order management and X3Clouddocs in your first year, building up to upgrades in year two, and implementations in year three.Activities will include;
* Management of small orders – scheduling, communication with the customers.
* Project Management of X3CloudDocs, Upgrades and ultimately Implementation Projects.
* Implementation of the Mysoft Project framework for ongoing management of the engagement.
* Stakeholder management.
* Develop and execute project plans.
* Monitoring of the critical path to ensure on-time completion of the project.
* Ensures deliverables are completed, signed off and approved.
* Implementation of change management control procedures.
* Utilisation of best practice under the governance of Mysoft Business Processes (MBP).
Eligibility
It is essential that you have two A level passes (or equivalent) at grade A* to C / 9 to 4, plus a minimum of three GCSE passes at A* to C or 9 to 4 including *English and Maths, or have completed a recognised access programme or equivalent i.e. Level 4 Project Manager Associate.
About you
From a skills and experience perspective, we’re looking for…
* Competent in the use of MS Office products at intermediate level in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Excellent written and grammatical skills i.e., minute taking, reporting writing, letter writing.
* Excellent communication skills, able to listen, show empathy and collaborate clearly and concisely with multiple stakeholders, internal and external.
* Good organisation and time management skills, able to plan and prioritise effort and activities effectively to meet delivery timelines.
* Experience in using MS Visio or a similar product would be advantageous.
You’ll be naturally driven and self-starting to be able to meet the demands of the degree programme in addition to having the following personal attributes:
