Chalk Hill Group are partnering with a fast growth, international technology business who are seeking a commercially focused Finance Director to lead their finance function.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of financial management across multiple jurisdictions. This is a highly visible role where you will act as a strategic partner to the business, driving performance through data-led insights and supporting key commercial decisions.
Leading and developing a high-performing finance team, you will ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement across processes and systems.
Key responsibilities
* Partner with senior stakeholders across business functions, providing strategic insight to support decision making
* Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term planning cycles
* Deliver accurate monthly reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking with ability to deliver dashboards and performance reporting
* Collaborate with operational teams on pricing strategies and cost control
* Oversee monthly and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS)
* Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors
* Monitor cash flow, working capital, and core financial metrics
* Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, including Financial Controller level
Key requirements include
* Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Extensive experience in a high-performance finance environment
* Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial controls
* Proven experience in FP&A and business partnering
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively under pressure
