We are currently working in partnership with a number of welcoming primary schools across Atherton, Wigan and Warrington who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, newly qualified, or looking to gain valuable school-based experience.
The role may include:
Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
Supporting children with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs.
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working with children (school-based or transferable experience welcomed).
Are patient, caring, and adaptable.
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
