Warehouse Operative (Temporary)
Horsham (due to the location access to your own transport is required)
£13.20 per hour + 22% shift allowance = £16.10 per hour
Monday to Friday | 14:00 – 22:15
Immediate start | 6-month assignment
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established operations team based in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-quality environment, handling products across ambient, chilled and frozen areas.
This is a temporary, full-time role (38.75 hours per week) with the potential for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking and packing orders to meet targets
* Receiving deliveries and storing goods correctly
* Using inventory systems to log stock
* Following production orders and completing packaging tasks
* Completing GMP paperwork accurately and on time
* Carrying out stock checks, cycle counts and waste management
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
* Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
* Reporting any health & safety or quality concerns
* Working collaboratively as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
* Good attention to detail
* IT literate
* Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong team player with a proactive attitude
* GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Comfortable working in ambient, chilled and frozen (-20°C) environments
Desirable:
* Experience in a warehouse, GMP, or regulated environment
