Ocean Import OperatorLocation: BradfordSalary: Up to £33,000Job Type: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00We are working with a well-established freight forwarding business in Bradford who are looking to appoint an Ocean Import Operator to join their busy team.The company has been operating for over 30 years and provides sea freight and RoRo, road freight, air freight, export and import services to a wide range of customers.This role will principally sit within the FCL Import Department, supporting the movement of import consignments and ensuring customers receive a high level of service throughout the shipping process.The RoleHandling general administrative duties, including data input, shipping documentation, raising invoices and passing purchase invoicesArranging import consignmentsPlanning and booking deliveriesMonitoring shipmentsLiaising with customers and service providersSupporting the day-to-day running of the import departmentRequirementsMinimum 1 to 2 years' experience working within a shipping department environmentKnowledge of customs procedures and software would be preferredStrong customer service focusProactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong communication skillsAble to work well independently and as part of a teamGood file management skillsPackageSalary up to £33,000Full-time, permanent positionMonday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00Strong development opportunitiesFriendly and knowledgeable office environmentThis is a great opportunity for an Ocean Import Operator looking to join a reputable freight forwarding business with a strong reputation for excellent customer service.WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
