Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 6 months due to improvement in service delivery.
Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker within CCHC Ward 2 to support the nursing team. Ward 2 is a 14 bedded ward for the older person with varying degrees of physical and mental healthcare needs with a focus on Dementia, also including palliative and end of life care.
Responsibilities
* Support the nursing team on Ward 2 to ensure high-quality care for older people with dementia, including palliative and end of life care.
* Demonstrate genuine interest in working with older people and contribute to a patient-centered approach.
* Work as part of a team, maintain effective communication, and be flexible in approach to work.
Qualifications and Requirements
* It is desirable that the applicant has attained SVQ level 2.
* The duties require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
