Your Role
We require a Midday Assistant who enjoys working with children to join our caring school to supervise the children at lunchtime.
* supervision of children in the playground
* encouraging the children to eat their meal in the dining hall
* ensuring that hygiene standards are met
* working as a team
* have the ability to work calmly with any incidents which may arise assist including basic first aid
About You
The role requires strong organisational skills to manage playground games and the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults. A basic understanding of child development, safeguarding, health and safety, and first aid is essential. You should effectively manage pupil behaviour, demonstrate a caring and professional attitude, and maintain confidentiality. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team, using initiative when needed. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility are important, along with a willingness to take on additional duties. Previous experience working with children is desirable.
