Partner and Sub Team Lead Private Law Family Team
The Role
Forbes Solicitors are seeking an experienced Partner to lead our Private Law Family team. You'll support the Head of Department in driving growth, managing the team, and delivering exceptional legal services aligned with the Firm's strategy. This role offers the opportunity to shape and expand our Private Family offering across the Northwest while handling your own caseload.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and develop the Private Family team.
* Drive strategic and financial performance, ensuring KPIs are met.
* Deliver a personal caseload, including advocacy within Family Courts.
* Mentor, coach, and support team members.
* Build strong client and referrer relationships, generating new business.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (or CILEX, with Family Practice Rights and Advocacy) with 8+ PQE in Family Law, dealing with all aspects Private Family Law, such as Divorces, Finances, Domestic Abuse and Childcare;
* Family Law Advanced Accreditation / Children Resolution Panel member (or willingness to join) or any equivalent accreditation.
* Strong track record of leadership, business development and financial management.
* Skilled advocate with proven experience managing complex caseloads.
* Excellent client care, communication, and IT skills.
