Civil Solicitor - KMC Legal & Finance, Dunston, Stafford (ST18 9AB)
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-regarded rural practice. You will handle a varied caseload within our Civil Department, which includes:
* Landlord & Tenant matters
* Equine disputes
* Misrepresentation claims
* Consumer rights and breach of contract claims
* Some commercial work
* HR and employment matters
* Wills and estate administration disputes
We also hold a contract with Staffordshire County Council to support young businesses, providing advisory and legal services to new and growing enterprises in the region - offering you the chance to engage with a diverse and dynamic client base.
Our client base is primarily rural, so an interest or background in equine or countryside matters would be advantageous, though not essential.
Training & Development
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to undertake mediation training, should they wish to expand their skillset in dispute resolution.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
* Minimum 1 year PQE with civil law experience
* Strong client care and communication skills
* Ability to manage a varied and sometimes complex caseload
* Proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach
Hours & Location
* Full-time, 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (open to consideration of part time)
* Office-based at Dunston Farm, Dunston, Stafford, ST18 9AB
