The Assistant People Analyst will join the NWSSP People and Organisational development team to provide support with our information systems, data and people analytics, mixing study and work as part of this brand new role in the organisation.

Main duties of the job
Supporting the development of the service, you will help shape the vision of becoming a one stop shop for all people insight and analytic.
Collaborate with colleagues using workforce data to support them with performance, analytics, business intelligence and workforce planning
Provides information, guidance and support to colleagues on ESR and its functionality
To support the Workforce Intelligence Team in the provision of an effective and efficient workforce information service by monitoring and maintaining the quality of information held on ESR including regular data cleansing.
To provide administrative support of the Workforce Information System for the People Analytics Team.
Support specific Workforce Information / ESR projects within NWSSP

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to A Level, preferably in a relevant subject or relevant equivalent experience
* Strong interest in information management and data analysis
Experience
* Experience of computers systems/databases
* Experience of working with Workforce Information Systems
* Experience of using Microsoft 365 Power Bi, flow automate desirable
Skills & Attributes
* Able to work with databases and produce reports as necessary
* Ability to use the range of software packages, with particular emphasis on the use of Excel with experience using Excel functions including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
* Report writing skills
