We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Support Worker to join our nursing team at Bromyard Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job
Working under supervision of registered nurses, you will perform delegated nursing and non-nursing duties to promote patient-centered care.

Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
* Minimum GCSE grades 3-9 or A-D in Maths and English, or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications
* Willingness to undertake Maths and English Functional Skills qualifications
* Diploma Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
* Willingness to work towards Apprenticeship Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
* Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Understanding of roles and responsibilities in a clinical setting
* Organizational skills and knowledge of administrative tasks
Experience
* Experience working with people
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This role requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, to check for any criminal convictions.
