We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Operative/Supervisor at Lymington New Forest Hospital.
About the Role
Our maintenance business provides a range of expert planned and responsive maintenance services to domestic properties and commercial buildings in the social housing, health, and social care sectors. We manage healthcare buildings for NHS Trusts, residential homes, and educational facilities, ensuring properties are well maintained, efficient, and fit for purpose using the latest technology.

Responsibilities
1. Perform daily site maintenance duties as part of our responsive repairs and PPM (planned and preventative maintenance) programme.
2. Act as the focal point for external contractors, organizing and arranging planned maintenance visits.
3. Manage site files to ensure compliance with statutory, technical, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
4. Support career progression while remaining hands-on in maintenance tasks.
About the Location
This role is based at Lymington Hospital, a busy inpatient facility built by Rydon Construction under a PFI contract, with Rydon Maintenance providing Hard Facilities Management since 2006.
Working Hours and Benefits
* Normal hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with participation in an on-call rota system.

Candidate Requirements
1. Previous plant room maintenance experience.
2. Supervisory experience within a maintenance organization is preferred.
3. Experience supporting NHS clients or similar sectors like hotels, schools, or supermarkets.
4. Technical knowledge of M&E building services and health & safety procedures.
5. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
7. Full UK driving license required.
