We are looking for caring and dedicated Autism Support Buddy to join a specialist primary school in the UB7 area. The school provides a calm, structured, and nurturing environment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated needs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs. Graduates with the right attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment are strongly encouraged to apply. Full time only - November and January starts available Key Responsibilities Support children with ASD in both classroom and one-to-one settings. Help pupils access learning and develop independence. Use visual aids, communication tools, and structured routines to promote engagement. Assist with personal care needs (toileting, dressing, hygiene) when required. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver tailored support. Encourage emotional regulation, social interaction, and confidence. About You Caring, patient, and reliable. Genuine interest in supporting children with autism and additional needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexible and eager to learn. Experience in a school or SEN setting is an advantage. Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is desirable. Familiarity with PECS or Makaton is beneficial (training provided). What’s on Offer Supportive and inclusive team environment.
