Offer description

As an HCPC registered scientist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting one of the busiest stem cell transplantation laboratories in Europe. The Transplantation Programme is licensed by the Human Tissue Authority and accredited by JACIE, making us an attractive centre for numerous clinical trials investigating cellular therapy products for various diseases. Additionally, UCLH is a designated centre for treating patients with licensed commercial products and will soon participate in the exciting field of Tumour Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapies.

To manage and maintain our high-throughput service, strong working relationships with several teams are crucial. The laboratory collaborates closely with clinical and quality management teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuous service improvement. Supporting the laboratory as a dedicated and responsible scientist will be both challenging and rewarding.

For detailed person specifications and main responsibilities, please refer to the attached Job Description.

Please note: We are currently advertising two vacancies: one permanent position and a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. If interested in either, specify this in your supporting statement. Submit only one application to avoid delays.
