We are working with a leading national forklift dealership to recruit a Service Coordinator for their Nottingham depot. The Opportunity
As a Service Coordinator, you will be at the centre of the service operation, ensuring engineers are effectively scheduled, customer requests are handled efficiently, and service activity runs smoothly.
You will play a key role in maintaining communication between customers, engineers, and internal departments, ensuring a high level of service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling and coordinating field service engineers
Managing incoming service requests and breakdown calls
Prioritising workloads to ensure customer downtime is minimised
Liaising with customers to provide updates on engineer attendance and job progress
Raising and processing job cards, service reports, and internal documentation
Supporting engineers with parts and job requirements
Maintaining accurate records on internal systems
Assisting with invoicing, service administration, and job completion paperwork
Communicating effectively with internal departments including parts and sales
Ensuring all service activities are recorded accurately and efficientlyAbout You
Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, service administration, or similar role is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Computer literate and comfortable working with systems and databases
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative work
Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach
