Level 2 Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Location: Cardiff
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: £14.95 per hour
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established and supportive early years setting in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed childcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education within a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and implementation of activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
* Observe, assess, and record children’s development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
* Build positive partnerships with parents and carers
* Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are consistently met
Essential Requirements:
* Level 2 qualification in Childcare (recognised full and relevant qualification)
* Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable:
* Paediatric First Aid certificate
* Previous nursery experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
