A financial services business are looking for an international tax manager to join for a 12 month FTC. The role focuses on cross‑border tax matters, including financing, restructuring, and tax considerations for ongoing corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of international tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, including cross‑border structuring, financing and general tax risk management.
* Provide tax input on corporate transactions, including reviewing due diligence findings and contributing to high‑level structuring decisions.
* Coordinate and manage external tax advisers to ensure advice is consistent, commercially appropriate and aligned with the organisation’s risk appetite.
* Work closely with internal tax and finance teams during key reporting cycles, offering insight into the tax impact of acquisitions, reorganisations and other business changes.
* Collaborate with colleagues responsible for transfer pricing to help identify risks and support the implementation of intercompany policies.
* Support regional finance teams with cash tax forecasting and general tax planning considerations.
* Monitor relevant changes in international tax legislation and assess potential implications for the business.
* Build strong working relationships with teams across finance, legal, HR, treasury and corporate development to ensure tax considerations are factored into wider decision‑making.
Experience:
* Hold a recognised tax or accounting qualification with substantial experience in international tax within a multinational environment.
* Bring experience managing external advisers, overseeing multi‑jurisdictional tax matters and working on cross‑border structuring and tax accounting.
* Experience in private‑equity‑backed, fast‑growing or financial services environments is beneficial but not essential
