AI Technical Consultant – AI/ML

[Purpose of the Job]
We are seeking an experienced AI technical consultant to join our team focused on developing innovative, intelligent solutions with 3–5 years of industry experience to design, implement, and advise on AI/ML solutions that drive business value. This role is perfect for highly motivated consultant. You will collaborate closely with PMs to develop use cases and bring cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to our clients, often pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
[Key Accountabilities]
(1) Build and refine LLM/SLM-based AI solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation(RAG), fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
(2) Design and oversee solution architecture for AI-powered systems across cloud and on-premise environments.
(3) Develop ML models and integrate them into production systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
(4) Evaluate business processes and recommend AI opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
(5) Stay updated on emerging open-source AI/ML frameworks and assess their applicability to the business.
(6) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategy, roadmap, and adoption plan.
(7) Prototype, test, and optimize AI applications, ensuring continuous performance improvement.
(8) Guide stakeholders in understanding AI capabilities and set realistic expectations.
(9) Maintain strong working relationships with subsidiaries and global teams.
[Requirements]
years of total experience with at least 3–5 years in AI/ML-focused roles.
(2) Strong expertise in GenAI, NLP, and Machine Learning.
(3) Proven experience in creating, training, and fine-tuning LLMs/SLMs.
(4) Hands-on skills in Python, Java, SQL/NoSQL databases.
(5) Experience with API development, web scraping/crawling, and data integration.
(6) Practical exposure to on premise AI model deployment and open-source AI frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain).
(7) Ability to assess AI tools and recommend optimization for performance improvements.
(8) Strong consulting and communication skills — able to translate technical concepts into business value.
(9) Experience working with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
(10) Solid understanding of a broad range of ML algorithms and principles preferred.
[Conditions]
(1) Job type: full-time &
12 month contract(subject to be extended)
(2) Job location: Weybridge, Surrey (on-site car park & free shuttle from/to Weybridge rail station)
(3) Hybrid working: 2 days work from home
after probation
(4) Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
(5) Basic salary: Up to 70K (depending on experience)
