Your purpose Based at either the Inbound or Outbound Gatehouse you will use the Yard Management System to book in trailers or book out trailers. You will also assist in maintaining the accuracy of the Yard. You will be accountable for: Booking trailers into the Hub using the Yard Management System. Undertaking full yard checks in line with the required standards and at the required intervals whilst on shift. Managing queries from Shunters regarding trailers in the Yard Directing trailers to and from the correct bays. Logging any damage to vehicles and liaising with the Transport Shift Managers. Monitoring all yard movements and bringing any discrepancies or problems to the Yard Controllers attention.
