You'll be at the forefront of delivering projects focused on strategic change, operational improvement, cost efficiency, and investment support. As a Senior Manager in Defence Consulting, you will: Independently lead and deliver complex consulting engagements across business transformation, operating model redesign, and strategy development.
Shape and structure high-quality analysis to solve client challenges using proven consulting methodologies and data-driven approaches.
Serve as the key client interface, engaging directly with senior stakeholders within the UK Defence sector.
Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams, supporting both internal capability development and client-side collaboration.
Drive new business efforts through proposal development, thought leadership, and leveraging sector insight.
Apply your understanding of how technology underpins and enhances transformation within defence and government environments.
A successful candidate will bring: A strong consulting background, ideally from a top-tier consultancy.
Demonstrated success in delivering results on large-scale, high-pressure engagements.
Expertise in one or more of the following: operating model design, cost efficiency, investment decision-making, business case development, or performance improvement.
Deep understanding of problem-solving frameworks and how technology supports effective transformation.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with experience working with C-level or senior government stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead diverse consulting teams and manage complex projects to scope, timeline, and budget.
Experience generating business development opportunities and leading successful proposal efforts.
Flexibility to travel to client sites across the UK, as needed.
Sector-Specific Notes: This role directly supports the UK's Defence and Security mission, and as such, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo UK government security clearance, if not already cleared.
