FLT Counterbalance Driver – Minworth, West Midlands
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Minworth, West Midlands. • Monday to Friday • 13:00 – 22:00

Day-to-Day Duties
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck in a safe and responsible manner • Loading and unloading HGV vehicles, ensuring correct weight distribution and load security • Scanning and verifying goods against delivery manifests and pallet tracking systems • Handling and storing palletised freight in line with Pallet Track procedures • Carrying out daily forklift pre-use checks and reporting defects or mechanical issues immediately • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse and yard • Adhering to all health and safety requirements, including PPE compliance • Reporting all incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor • Working collaboratively to meet warehouse and logistics deadlines • Demonstrating flexibility with working hours, including overtime where required
Essential Skills
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) • Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck • Good communication skills and ability to multitask • Strong spatial awareness • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail • Good organisational skills • Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
Training Provided
• Full site-specific training provided • Forklift assessment required prior to starting • Ongoing support throughout the assignment
