Job Description
Data Ingress serves as a critical input into CGA by NIQ's world-class product suite, which we are on track to roll out into the biggest on-premises markets worldwide. The Data Ingress Team ingests data from external third parties via an established process designed to drive efficiency for data ingestion into the business. This data is used to supplement and inform our services, where it is processed to generate market intelligence and insights. The DISS will have the opportunity to work with internal and external clients, honing project management and stakeholder management skills, as well as developing knowledge by learning about a range of data sources and data collection techniques, securing data to inform and strengthen CGA by NIQ's product suite.
They will also work with colleagues who will help them develop their careers and grow their skill sets while driving the Department's vision of ingesting data in the most efficient way. The DISS will collaborate with experienced team members, contributing to the continuing growth of the CGA NIQ international program. They will be trained to use a powerful toolkit, developing their careers while offering excellent external & internal customer service to clients and internal project teams supporting CGA NIQ products.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership

* Differentiate data types and determine appropriate ingestion paths.
* Update and maintain the Global Data Ingress Tracker and other reports.
* Log and troubleshoot issues, liaising with support teams for resolution.
* Handle complex queries and issues clearly and systematically.
* Support projects to assess, develop, and pilot new tools and technologies for data flow.
* Inform the business of process changes to ensure continuity and support process improvements.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes and ways of working.
Knowledge
* Become an expert on Data Ingress tools and processes, providing support to clients.
* Absorb and apply new information, documenting learnings for training.
* Share updates on process parameters with the wider business.
* Understand the department's strategy, context, and your role in its success.
* Complete relevant NIQ training modules (Project Management, Future Manager, Excel basics & advanced).
* Utilize Excel effectively for data manipulation.
