This role is ideal for someone with a solid HR generalist background who enjoys being visible, hands‑on, and supporting stakeholders across a proactive and collaborative organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first‑line HR advice across absence, performance, capability and low‑level ER issues
2. Support and coach managers, offering guidance, challenge and professional influence
3. Manage full onboarding, including offers, checks and delivering inductions
4. Maintain and update HR policies to ensure consistency and best practice
5. Produce HR reports and use Excel confidently to analyse and highlight data trends
6. Support salary benchmarking research and coordination of the annual pay review
7. Assist HR Business Partners with HR projects and continuous improvement
8. Deliver consistent, high‑quality HR administration and employee experience
About You
9. Strong HR generalist experience
10. Confident handling first‑line ER queries
11. Skilled in Excel and comfortable manipulating and interpreting data
12. Excellent communication skills; able to coach, influence and challenge appropriately
13. Organised, proactive and enjoys being part of a visible, collaborative HR team
14. Comfortable balancing operational delivery with project support
15. Salary up to £42,000
16. Hybrid working – typically 3 days in the Bristol office
