Registered Manager
Service: Children’s Residential (EBD)
Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Salary: £50,000 to £54,000pa
This is a two-bed children’s home in Melton Mowbray for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. It’s fully renovated, thoughtfully laid out, and ready for a Registered Manager to take it through registration and shape the day-to-day culture from the ground up.
You’ll be stepping into a role with a provider that already runs 14 children’s homes, all rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. They’ve built the systems, structure and support, so you can get on with leading the home and focusing on what matters: high-quality, relational care.
This isn’t a setup where you’ll be left figuring things out alone nor one where your decisions are second-guessed. You’ll be backed and trusted to run the home your way, with space to build the right team and embed the right culture.
The role in practice:
* Leading the home through Ofsted registration
* Recruiting, shaping and mentoring your team
* Managing daily care, safeguarding, routines and reporting
* Setting high standards and holding the line on quality
* Working in partnership with professionals, families and local authorities
* Creating a stable, supportive home where young people can make progress
What you’ll bring:
* Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy ready for the step up
* Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
* Strong working knowledge of regs and inspection frameworks
* A confident, supportive leadership style
* Full UK manual driving licence
