As part of our income team, youll play an important role in making this a reality for thousands of people in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Youll be responsible for working with our tenants to enable them to pay their rent, problem solve and signpost for all tenancy types along with supporting tenants that fall into arrears with an aim to keep them in their homes. You will keep accurate records as you work with our tenants and partners to resolve any issues and represent Two Rivers Housing when its necessary to refer cases to court. What youll bring to our team Caring, respectful and with excellent communication skills, you will negotiate payment plans and provide basic welfare benefit and debt advice where appropriate. No two days will be the same in this role as every household is unique. Youll be required to communicate with external agencies and local authorities. Youll have the skills and experience to deal with challenging situations while providing a great customer experience from start to finish. Experienced in providing advice, ideally with social housing or relevant sector such as debt management services. Diplomacy and excellent customer service resolution and negotiation skills.
