Archers HealthCare Ltd. are looking for a Kitchen Assistant at Aston Grange Nursing Home, a 42 bedded Nursing and Residential home.
We are looking for the correct applicant to lead on the preparing of breakfast, supporting with Apetito meals (Frozen Meal) and light teatime meals for our residents. You must be able to work using your own initiative, be creative, organised and adaptable.
The successful candidate will be required to work 4 (four) day a week, this includes working alternate weekend. Your daily shift will be from 7.30am - 3.30pm these hours will be discussed at the interview process.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
* Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Team player
* Must complete Food Safety Level 2 Training within the Induction period
* Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
DESIRED
* Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved / working towards)
* Experience of working with the relevant Client group
