SEND Teaching Assistant
* Annual Salary: £95 per day minimum

A Primary School is seeking a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting pupils across primary and secondary age ranges with additional learning and emotional needs. This role is ideal for candidates with education experience as well as those with strong transferable skills who are looking to develop a career within SEND provision.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Help pupils engage with learning, build confidence, and feel supported throughout the school day.
* Provide support on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within the wider classroom setting, depending on pupil needs.
* Display flexibility, patience, and a nurturing approach as pupils may present with a variety of learning styles and emotional or behavioural needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Calm, patient, and understanding demeanour.
* Confident in working with children and young people with SEND.
* Able to adapt their approach to meet individual needs.
* Comfortable working across both primary and secondary settings.
* Experience in education, care, or support work is beneficial, or able to demonstrate relevant transferable skills.
* Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential, as the school welcomes applicants with backgrounds in care, youth work, or similar roles.
