Java / Kotlin Developer

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java / Kotlin Developer to join our growing tech team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Java and Kotlin. This is a fantastic opportunity for developers with experience in Java and Kotlin to work on innovative projects, expand their skill set, and take on a key role within the development team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain applications using Java and Kotlin.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust software solutions.
* Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, following best practices.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise code for better performance and reliability.
* Stay current with the latest technologies, frameworks, and trends in the Java/Kotlin ecosystem.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience with Java and Kotlin development.
* Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools such as Spring and Hibernate.
* Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Knowledge of databases, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
* Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD processes.
Salary:
* £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
