Lead Administrator / Service Coordinator (Electrical & Fire Services) - Up to £35,000 DOE - Dartford area Office
Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary: Up to £35,000+ (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Our client, a well-established FM services provider based in Kent/South East London, is seeking an organised and proactive Lead Administrator / Service Coordinator to support their busy Electrical and Fire Services division. Working closely with the Contracts Manager and QS Lead Engineer, this is a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate engineer diaries, service schedules, and customer appointments
2. Support the delivery of both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
3. Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (e.g., EICRs, Fire Alarm Certificates)
4. Liaise with clients, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure service levels and contract obligations are met
5. Participate in contract-related meetings with clients and the engineering team
6. Assist in improving and streamlining admin processes within the division
7. Maintain accurate records using CAFM/industry software and Office applications
8. Provide occasional support for emergency/out-of-hours coordination if required
What Our Client Is Looking For:
1. Minimum 3 years' administrative experience, ideally in FM, engineering, or construction
2. Prior experience in fire safety or electrical services (highly desirable)
3. NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Administration (desirable)
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
5. Experience using CAFM or industry-specific systems (Joblogic, Clik, etc.)
6. Strong understanding of service coordination, compliance documents, and contract workflows
7. Confident communicator with excellent organisation and multitasking skills
8. Experience leading or mentoring junior administrators (a plus)
9. A proactive mindset with a commitment to high service standards
