Hours:
Full time – Permanent Monday-Friday 40 hours per week (on-call duties and some evening and weekends may be required)
Location:
Stoke-on-Trent ST10 (may be required to travel)
Salary:
£37,139 - £39,702 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications). + Access to home managers monthly bonus scheme.

As a Deputy Lead Therapeutic Parent you will be joining the company at an exciting and compelling time as Halliwell are successfully expanding the delivery of our Restorative Parenting programme and opening further homes within the Midlands area.

The role:
Deputy Lead Therapeutic Parent (Deputy Manager) will work closely and supportively with the Lead Therapeutic Parent (Registered Manager) to ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that the homes operate at all times in accordance with all appropriate regulatory frameworks.
Leading by example with Halliwell's vision and mission supporting members of the team to effectively deliver the Restorative Parenting Programme. The postholder will supervise senior staff and others, including chairing peer supervision meetings to ensure support in the role and exchange of good practice across the team.
What the role entails:
* To communicate with and represent Halliwell in liaison with all appropriate external agencies.
* To supervise senior staff and others, including chairing peer supervision meetings to ensure support in role and exchange of good practice across the team.
* Liaising with relevant outside agencies, representing Halliwell at meetings and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
* Ensuring that the homes maintain consistent standards in line with The Restorative Parenting Model.
* Help to promote and embed a culture of safeguarding the welfare of children across all areas of practice and education.
Requirements of the role:
* Must have at least 1-2 years' experience working within Residential Childcare
* Must hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
* Supporting with driving standards of a home to successfully achieve an Ofsted rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
