Key Responsibilities:
1. Behaviour Management: Lead and implement the school's behaviour policy, utilising restorative approaches to manage and resolve incidents effectively, particularly within the classroom setting.
2. Pastoral Care: Provide high-quality, targeted pastoral support to vulnerable and challenging pupils, liaising with parents/carers and external agencies.
3. Class Support: Work directly with teaching staff and students to model effective classroom management techniques and de-escalation strategies.
4. Intervention: Plan, deliver, and evaluate small group and 1:1 interventions focused on improving behaviour, social skills, and emotional regulation.
5. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyse behaviour data to identify trends, report on outcomes, and inform school-wide strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
6. Proven experience working in a Pastoral or Behaviour Management role within a school or youth setting.
7. Strong knowledge of effective behaviour strategies and the application of restorative practice.
8. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to build immediate rapport and respect with students.
9. A comprehensive understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
10. Outstanding communication, empathy, and organisational skills.
