We’re working with a large, global organisation seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing security function. This role will focus on designing and implementing security solutions, protecting infrastructure, and supporting incident response across a complex enterprise environment.
You’ll work closely with IT, applications, and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded across the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement security solutions across infrastructure and applications
* Support network and cloud security (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, Azure)
* Monitor security tools (SIEM/EDR) and support incident response activities
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
* Contribute to secure architecture, threat modelling, and best practices
Key Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in Cyber Security / Security Engineering
* Strong knowledge of networking, infrastructure (Microsoft), and cloud environments (Azure)
* Experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
* Understanding of security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
* Knowledge of IAM, encryption, and common attack vectors
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Must be able to work in Ireland unrestricted without sponsorship
