Electrical Supervisor
Meridian are working with a reputable M&E company who have recently grown their Electrical team and are now looking to bring in an additional Electrical Supervisor. This will provide a variety of work around the North-west, with occasional work further afield. They specialise in commercial projects, such as offices, warehouses, schools, renewable energy systems, as well as education and university buildings etc. If you're looking to join a growing team with an established contractor across the north-west, in a role with plenty of additional earning potential, then this role is perfect for you:

Starting salary of c.£47k (in line with JIB, based on 40-hour week) with lots of potential for additional earning, greatly increasing your annual take-home pay

Majority of projects focussed regionally, however there may be times when there will be projects that demand working away (e.g Manchester, Bolton, Wigan, Blackpool, etc.)

Relevant electrical experience in commercial environments and managing teams of installation Electricians
Gold JIB Electrician Card
SSSTS
BS7671 18th Edition Wiring regulations
IPAF preferred but not essential
DBS preferred but not essential
Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role)Duties will include:
Supervising teams of electricians as they perform electrical installations, including 1st, 2nd, and final fix
Ability to Supervise Inspection and Testing of electrical equipment on site, with an ability to fault-find electrical systems
Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and with accurate problem-solving skills
Working independently on electrical installation as well as effectively contributing to team environments if and when required
Ability to work alongside subcontractors and other trades on commercial projects
Good timekeeping skills to work to deadlines and changing project timelines
Be involved with paperwork, Health & Safety, RAMS, and toolbox talks
