As a Special Needs Teacher, you will teach small classes of no more than six pupils, each supported by at least one dedicated Teaching Assistant. Lessons are creative, tailored to individual needs, and supported by excellent resources and outstanding facilities. The leadership team is highly supportive, and collaboration is at the heart of everything they do. Job Role: Teaching small classes of children with moderate to complex learning needs. Creating and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning goals. Working closely with Teaching Assistants to provide personalised support and maintain a positive classroom environment. Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support each child’s development. Promoting independence, communication, and confidence in every learner. Collaborating with the wider team to share best practice and celebrate pupil progress. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – suitable for primary or secondary-trained teachers. Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs or a passion to develop in SEND education. A patient, creative, and nurturing teaching approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
