We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Project Manager to join our Circet team!
Responsibilities
1. To promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects
2. Managing the project in all aspects including health & safety, programming, technical, quality, commercial
3. Responsible for supervising and managing sub-contractors
4. Ensure the company’s image and profile at site level is professional
5. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations and with company health & safety policy on all sites under control
6. Oversee quality control on site for all aspects of the works adopting a Right First Time culture
7. Plan and schedule the works and manage the construction programme
8. Ensure Traffic Management arrangements are in accordance with the relevant traffic management plans
9. Managing all aspects of the works on site on a daily basis
10. Setting out all elements of works including road alignments and service installations
11. Surveying constructed works for as-built drawings
12. Monitoring and recording progress on site and assisting in updating the works programme
13. Management of material deliveries on site and checking quality of materials
14. Supervising sub-contractors works on site
15. Identify and record additional works and work closely with the project QS to prepare costs
16. Client interface with the Employer on a daily basis
17. Attend regular site meetings with construction team, design team and client
18. Maintaining daily site records and testing records
Knowledge Requirements:
19. Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
20. Minimum 6 years’ experience
21. Proficient in use of setting out equipment – GPS, robotic total station, levelling equipment
22. Experience working with AutoCAD
23. Experience working with programming soft
24. Good commercial and contract awareness
25. Experience of roadworks and utility installations
26. Experience in quality control of engineering materials on site
27. Ability to maintain high levels of health, safety & quality on site
28. Ability to manage sub-contractors
29. Knowledge of relevant roadworks specifications
30. Good communication skills
