The Opportunity: We are seeking a senior Executive Claims Adjuster to join our Financial Lines (Professional Indemnity) team in London. This is a senior technical role within Chubb Global Markets, responsible for managing a portfolio of complex PI and Healthcare claims across North America, the UK, and international markets. You will act as a primary technical referral point for PI adjusters, providing coaching, guidance, and technical oversight, while contributing to the Financial Lines technical community. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of complex FL PI and Healthcare claims, ensuring timely, robust, and cost-effective resolution within authority limits. Mentor and oversee claims adjusting staff, providing technical guidance and oversight on major claims and cases beyond individual authority. Actively participate in the UKI FL technical community, supporting technical development, stakeholder management, and upskilling initiatives. Collaborate with peers and escalate cross-line issues to relevant managers and underwriters. Negotiate settlements and provide technical support to other adjusters, liaising with loss adjusters, solicitors, and third parties. Identify skills gaps and deliver targeted upskilling activities for the team. Drive efficiency and contribute to claims function results through process improvements and resource management. Coordinate claim-related projects and support line managers as required. Uphold Chubb’s ethical and service standards, focusing on service delivery for all client groups. Represent Chubb externally, engaging proactively with brokers and clients, supporting underwriters at renewal meetings, and attending market events. Qualifications In-depth technical knowledge of PI/FL claims. Legal or professional qualification relevant to Financial Lines insurance. Significant market experience in FL insurance, with deep understanding of PI products and claims management. Proven working knowledge of UKI FL suite of products, coverage, and claims processes. Solid understanding of Chubb’s business strategy and objectives. Extensive experience handling complex FL PI (and ideally Healthcare) claims in the UK (and desirable US) insurance market. Recognition as a technical expert in PI/FL claims, including involvement in complex referrals, training, or market committees.
