Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential foster carers and assess suitability for approval.
* Guide and support foster carers throughout their fostering journey to ensure best practices and outcomes for the children.
* Collaborate with other social workers, health professionals, and external agencies to coordinate and implement effective fostering plans.
* Prepare detailed reports and case documentation for reviews and fostering panels.
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously share knowledge and improve skills.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent qualification in social work and a current registration with Social Work England. Significant frontline experience within UK social services, particularly in a qualified social worker capacity, will be essential.
