Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team in Loughborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise in diagnostics, repairs, and EV technology while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.
You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing vehicle faults, carrying out repairs, and mentoring apprentices to help develop future talent. This role would suit an experienced technician with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and to high standards.
* Carry out electronic visual health checks (eVHC) and advise customers on findings.
* Ensure all repairs are completed safely, in line with MOT and manufacturer guidelines.
* Mentor and guide apprentices, sharing your expertise to support their development.
* Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and upskilling.
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
* EV qualification desirable (training can be provided if required).
* Previous experience in a diagnostic or master technician role, ideally within a dealership environment.
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help colleagues and customers alike.
