Concierge – Christchurch House, Ipswich
£12.32 per hour (£25,625.60 FTE)

You will be part of the team delivering our housing-related service to young people at Christchurch House in Ipswich.
As Concierge, you will work alongside our customers to ensure that throughout the night they feel safe, happy, and are able to access support should they need it. You will also ensure that the building is kept safe through monitoring and health and safety checks.
About you
* Be responsible for ensuring that during the night our customers feel safe and supported.
* Support our customers to manage risk and respond to any concerns of behaviour that may be causing risk or breaching their occupancy agreement.
* Undertake building health and safety checks throughout the night and report repairs or damage. You will be cleaning communal areas and preparing rooms for re-let.
* Spend time getting to know our customers and be a contact for them should they want support during the night.
* Manage any visitors that may come to the service and deal with any behaviours that break the house rules.
* Work as part of the wider team by undertaking admin tasks and ensuring records are completed so we have a seamless service.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Proven relevant work experience within this field or security/concierge work.
* Previous experience of working in a customer-facing environment, dealing with difficult and complex situations.
* Previous experience of working alongside vulnerable customers is desirable.
* Experience working within a team and independently.

* GCSE Maths and English (Grade 9-4 / A-C or equivalent)
