To work with the regional management team, helping to meet the aims and objectives of the North West Region by working closely with local media outlets, developing and promoting UNISONs campaigns and providing media (both traditional and digital) support to colleagues and union branches.
You will have excellent presentation skills and communications skills, both face-to-face and on paper.
A sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives is essential along with a good understanding of UNISONs policies and objectives.
You will need to be able to travel within the region and possibly London for meetings/training as required.
