Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for a qualified and experienced Truck Instructor to join our team in New Mills (SK22). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality theory and practical training across all company trucks, ensuring all operators are trained to the highest safety and compliance standards. Youll play a key role in maintaining training excellence, auditing performance, and ensuring all company trucks and related documentation meet current health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Deliver truck training (new and refresher) across A1, A2, A5, A6, A7, B1, D2 & P1 categories. Oversee all aspects of truck theory and practical training. Audit, monitor, and review training sessions and operator performance. Keep up to date with current health & safety (H&S) rules, regulations, and industry standards. Regularly check and maintain all truck-related documentation. Work closely with the Training Department to ensure consistent training quality. Ensure refresher training is completed and recorded on time. Uphold and promote company values in all aspects of training and conduct. Health & Safety Compliance Monitor trained operators to ensure safe working practices. Ensure all truck checks, cleaning, and maintenance activities are completed to standard. Keep informed of any H&S updates, including through the Mentor website. Requirements AITT and RTITB registered instructor (essential). Strong communication and organisational skills. Flexible and adaptable
able to train across shifts, including nights when required. Excellent understanding of H&S compliance in a training environment.
