Autism Support Assistant - SEN Specialist
This incredible SEND school in Oldham is searching for a highly experienced and passionate candidate to join their fantastic SEND team.
Are you a university graduate, with a strong academic background, who is keen to support young learners with special educational needs and disabilities?
Maybe you have previous experience working with young people with ASC/ADD etc and would love to work in an all through school for the full academic year?
Autism Support Assistant - The Role:
* Autism Support Assistant
* Work on a 1:1 basis with children with SEND
* Support children who have special educational needs/ challenging behaviour
* Differentiate according to individual needs
* Work in a lovely specialist school in Oldham
* Communicate excellently with various stakeholders
Autism Support Assistant - Person Specification:
* 1st class or 2:1 degree in Psychology or relatable subject is ideal
* Strong knowledge of SEND if required
* Passionate about education and SEN
* Thinking of becoming a teacher or Educational Psychologist in the future
* SEND experience is essential
Autism Support Assistant- Benefits:
