GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a motivated, honest, and determined person to join our growing team as a Production Operator.
After a 3-month training and development period, you will be a qualified member of our committed production team. Able to work across departments using textile machinery and specialist manufacturing equipment to process textiles with specialist finishings.
As the market leader in Fire Retardant finishings, we work to the highest standards of quality and assurance. We are looking to strengthen the team, recruiting someone with high integrity and work ethic to achieve and then drive our standards.
Recent investments in new technology, including investment in a new production line is generating exciting growth. We need further investment in the workforce to realise the true potential.
We are part of a larger textile group with offices in the UK, China, and the US, servicing sales markets across the globe.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operate machinery and equipment to process textiles to the highest standards
2. Follow production guidelines and technical specifications to deliver quality
3. Inspect finished goods and coordinate with management for continual QC improvements
4. Operate a clean and organised work area
5. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
6. Support fellow team members in achieving objectives
Upon being chosen as a potential candidate, you will undergo a three-part interview process consisting of a phone call, a face-to-face interview, and a written assessment. The written assessment will take approximately one hour to complete, and will cover questions related to manufacturing and also include a simple numeracy assessment.
