Accounts Assistant – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience My client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideally starting February/March 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and play a key role in the smooth running of the finance function. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee processing of Sales and Purchase invoices · Assist with credit control and purchase ledger payments · Collate data for reports and monthly analysis · Process and pay employee personal expenses · Process, log, and check monthly credit card receipts and statements · Monitor fixed costs reporting · Assist with the production of monthly management accounts · Raise and allocate Purchase Orders Requirements: · Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced finance environment · Proven ability to process high volumes of invoices · Discretion when handling confidential information · Knowledge of Xero (advantageous, not essential) Skills: · Strong communication and numerical ability · Excellent attention to detail · Ability to manage multiple priorities · Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel · Assertive, adaptable, and strong problem-solving skills This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
